Timothy Hutton (1960 - )
Timothy Hutton, the son of the late actor Jim Hutton,
made his film debut at the age of five in the comedy
Never Too Late (1965), a movie that co-starred
his father. In the late 70's Timothy Hutton began
appearing in made for TV movies.
Timothy Hutton won the Oscar in 1980, at the age
of 20, for his excellent performance in Ordinary
People, which was directed by Robert Redford.
Some other career highlights include playing the
son of convicted spies in Daniel (1983),
and as a young district attorney in the 1990 film
Q&A.
He has also directed several music videos.
It is interesting to note that ORDINARY
PEOPLE was Hutton's first film.
