Whoopi Goldberg - a comedian
Super Star & Award Winner

An unusual but popular performer, Whoopi Goldberg broke into films after a career as a standup comic.

Whoopi Goldberg's defining role was a woman hiding from the mob among nuns in SISTER ACT. Notable Whoopi films include: THE COLOR PURPLE, GHOST (Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress), and SOAPDISH.

Probably the only Oscar winner to have once been a single mother on welfare, Goldberg's success story is truly inspirational.

Whoopi Goldberg's newest films include: IF I HAD KNOW I WAS A GENIUS, EVERYONE'S HERO and HOMIE SPUMONI.
