Sharon Stone was born on March 10, 1958, and spent her childhood and youth in a small town, Meadville, Pennsylvania.

Blessed with an IQ of 154, she enrolled at age 15 in Edinboro State University of Pennsylvania, and graduated with a degree in creative writing and fine arts. Her first love was black and white movies, especially Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers films.Her first film was in 1980, Woody Allen's STARDUST MEMORIES, being a pretty girl on the train.

She has posed nude for Playboy MagazineStone received her second Golden Globe nomination and Academy Award nomination for her portrayal of Robert De Niro's drug crazed wife in CASINO.

Stone received her third Golden Globe nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her role in THE MIGHTY. She excelled in her first comedic role in THE MUSE, and won her fourth Golden Globe nomination.
