marlon-brando A quote from People Magazine says, "He was handsome enough to be a heart throb, tough enough to play a thug, and gifted enough to challenge Laurence Olivier as the greatest actor who ever lived." Marlon Brando was unlike any other leading man from Hollywood. He was as some would say, more intense, more animalistic and iconoclastic.

He was an angry young anti-hero that won Oscars for such performances. Marlon Brando constantly wanted to surprise people the rebellious side of him, that didn't let him do what people expected; funny, because throughout the years we began to expect just that of him. Such qualities are seen in films such as: "A Streetcar Named Desire" (1951), "On The Waterfront" (1954), "The Wild One" (1954), "The Godfather" (1972), and "Last Tango In Paris" (1973).

Though now, Marlon is sadly settling down and doing high-priced cover cameos in commercials, his "disdain for Hollywood's creative decline is understandable yet lamentable." But the shows not over yet, and if there is one thing we have learned from the rock hard Brando, it's watch your back, because you never know what you're going to get. Who knows, maybe he's just waiting to seize that perfect opportunity. Only time will tell.
