in EASY RIDER in 1969. Nicholson played along with Peter Fonda as two friends on a motorcycle odyssey from LA to New Orleans for Mardis Gras, whose misadventures on the road are the subject of the counter culture tale. Jack Nicholson was nominated for an Oscar for his role.
