Grace Patricia Kelly was born on November 12, 1929 in Philadelphia.. Her nick name was "Graciebird" or "Gracie."

1954 was a terrific year for her career. Her portrayal of Lisa Fremont in Alfred Hitchcock’s REAR WINDOW, playing James Stewart’s bold girl friend, really showcased her talent and made her a huge star.

Grace Kelly last film was made in 1956, a musical remake of "The Philadelphia Story", called HIGH SOCIETY.

She retired from films shortly after when she married Prince Rainier III of Monaco. She lived the rest of her life in Monaco with her family. Grace died in a tragic road accident in Sept. of 1982, just 52 years old.
