Arnold Schwarzenegger was Austrian muscleman with an unusual last name who ascended to dizzying heights in Hollywood, against all odds.

His defining role was as a time traveling killer robot in THE TERMINATOR. Arnold's other notable films include: CONAN THE BARBARIAN, PREDATOR, TOTAL RECALL, T-2, TRUE LIES, ERASER, and BATMAN AND ROBIN. Arnold surprised critics by appearing successfully in the comedy TWINS and the comedy/drama KINDERGARTEN COP.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is married to TV newsperson Maria Shriver, who is part of the Kennedy family.
