Rosie O'Donnell was born on March 21, 1962 in Commack, Long
Island, New York. O'Donnell's birth name is Roseann O'Donnell
and she goes by the nicknames Dolly and Ro.
Starting out doing stand-up comedy, Rosie has moved up the
ladder to producing and hosting Stand Up Spotlight. Rosie
O'Donnell appeared as a lifeline on Who Wants to Be a Millionaire,
she correctly answered the question, and helped the contestant
win $32,000. Later O'Donnell invited the contestant onto her
show, and gave him a week-long trip to London, England.
