Louisiana. Her father was Dr. John Witherspoon, a military surgeon, specializing in ear, nose and throat. Her mother was a nurse, who earned her PHD in pediatric nursing.

pitcher, Deacon Phillippe, who is a distant relative of her
ex-husband Ryan's.

a sleeze bag attorney.
Then in 2003,
they both took on their roles again in this time LEGALLY BLONDE 2: RED, WHITE & BLONDE. Reese
Witherspoon was also the executive producer.

was in the southern hit, SWEET HOME ALABAMA with his sister, playing Reese's assistant.

Carter in the 2005 hit movie WALK THE LINE. After this movie
was released, people worldwide were amazed by the resemblance
of June Carter's voice and Reese Witherspoon's voice, heard in Carter's songs.

surprised her husband, Ryan Phillippe, with a special Christmas
