Legandary actor Henry Fonda, was Peter Fonda's dad. Peter
Fonda is the father of Bridget Fonda and Justin Fonda; it
seems we will see a long line of family members in the entertainment
field. Peter is also the brother of actress Jane Fonda.
Peter Fonda is father-in-law to composer Danny Elfman, who married Peter's daughter, Bridget.
The only recorded time that we saw father and son on the
big screen together was in the 1979 movie WANDA NEVADA. Henry
Fonda made a brief appearance in the picture making this the
only time they worked together.
The 1969 hit movie, EASY RIDER was more then just a role
for Peter Fonda. He took three major parts in the making of
this movie. Not only did Peter Fonda played the role of Wyatt; (which also
had him actually smoking marijuana on-camera), but he was also
a producer and writter.
Peter Fonda was known for being a great actor but also for
being very public with his experimentation with drugs, that
we did see in his films;EASY RIDERS and the 1967 film THE TRIP. Another well known LSD experience was with friend John Lennon. Together they inspired pronouncements in the song "She Said
