Paul Hogan was Born on October 8, 1939 in Lightning Ridge,
New South Wales, Australia.
Paul co-developed and acted in "The Paul Hogan Show" on Australian
TV in the 1970's.
The 1986 hit CROCODILE
DUNDEE, was created and co-wrote by Paul Hogan. It earned
him a Golden Globe for Best Actor; as well as an Oscar nomination
for Best Screenplay.
Hogan was the executive producer/writer/star of the feature
films "Almost an Angel" and "Lightning Jack".
Paul was discovered in a 'New Faces' talent quest. Americans
remember Hogan from his commercials for the Australian Tourist
Commission in which he invited us to say "g'day" and come "down
under" so he could "slip another shrimp on the barbie."
