About Paula Prentiss (1938 – )
Paula Prentiss was born on March 4, 1938 in San Antonio, Texas.

Married to director Richard Benjamin, Paula Prentiss and Richard are the parents of Ross Benjamin and Prentiss.

In 1958 Paula Prentiss was discovered by a talent scout at Northwestern University, she was signed by Metro Goldwyn Mayer. While working with Metro Goldwyn Mayer, Paula Prentiss teamed up with Jim Hutton in a string of comedies.

In the 1960s, Paula Prentiss funny voice inflections, free acting style and brunette good looks established her as a leading lady in comedies of the screwball type.

Paula Prentiss was chosen by Empire magazine as one of the 100 Sexiest Stars in film history in 1995. In 1999 Paula Prentiss was chosen by Cannes Film Festival as one of the "500 Names that Made Cannes".

Paula Prentiss has retired for the most part from acting, but on occasion has some fun acting in area playhouses.
