His birth name is Norman Feld Born on March 24, 1924 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Norman Fell passed away on December 14,1998 in Woodland Hills, California; at the Motion Picture and Television Fund's retirement home, he was 74 years old, when he died of cancer.

Fell's first regular TV appearance was in the 1956 comedy series JOE & MABEL. Norman Fell is best know TV role was that of Stanley Roper, the landlord in the very popular "Three's Company" which debuted in 1977. This role that won him a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actor.
