About Mickey Rourke (1956 – )
Philip Andre Rourke Jr. (Mickey Rourke) was born on September 16,1956 in Schenectady, New York. In 1979 Rourke made his acting debut playing Private Reese in Steven Spielberg's film, 1941, opposite Dan Aykroyd, Ned Beatty, and John Belushi.

Debra Feuer was Mickey Rourke's first wife. They were married from 1981 until 1989. Feuer is an actress seen in the movies Moment By Moment, Under Cover Of Darkness and Frank's Angel. Debra Feuer also starred with Mickey Rourke in Homeboy, a movie that Rourke wrote.

Mickey Rourke has also written two additional movies, Bullet and F.T.W., under the name Sir Eddie Cook. In addition to writing the scripts, Rourke also played characters Johnny Walker (in Homeboy) and Butch (in Bullet). In F.T.W Rourke had the title role of Frank T. Wells.

In 1992 Rourke was married for a second time to actress Carré Otis. She is known for her work in the films Simon Says and Wild Orchid. In 1996 Mickey Rourke and his wife starred together in Exit In Red. This was not their first time on screen together. They also co-starred in Wild Orchid in 1990. The two divorced in December 1998.

Mickey Rourke also happens to be a professional boxer, with a very impressive record. His boxing nickname is Marielito. Even though his acting career was thriving Rourke never stopped boxing. He decided to step back from his acting career and took a shot at becoming a professional boxer.

In 2005 Rourke made his acting come back. He played the part of Marv in the black and white hit movie Sin City. This film was based off of comic books and starred Jessica Alba and Alexis Biedel.

In 2008 Rourke combined his passion for wrestling and acting by playing wrestler Randy "The Ram" Ramzinski, the lead role in the controversial film The Wrestler.

The sequel of a great film Love In Paris starred Mickey Rourke with the title role opposite Agathe De La Fontaine and Angie Everhart. In the first of the series Nine And ½ Weeks, Mickey Rourke again had the title role this time opposite Kim Basinger and Margaret Whitton.

In 2003 Mickey Rourke starred in Once Upon A Time In Mexico playing the role of Billy.
