About Michael Ansara (1922 – 2013)
Michael Ansara was born on April 15, 1922 in Syria. He died after a long illness in Calabasas, California.

Dr. Victor Fries or Mr. Freeze is a role that Michael Ansara knows well. It all started in 1997, on the hit TV series The New Batman Adventures. Michael Ansara took the role and ran with it. He was the voice of Mr Freeze in several films, including Batman & Mr Freeze: Subzero in 1998. Then again in 1999 in the movie Batman Beyond: The Movie and Batman: Vengeance in 2001.

A role in 1956, playing Cochise on the TV Series Broken Arrow. This was the role that brought Michael Ansara TV stardom.

Michael Ansara has had a very a successful career as an actor. Michael Ansara has been in over 90 films and has had over 100 TV guest appearances. A few of Ansara's TV guest appearances have been on hits like Babylon 5, The Fall Guy, Hunter, CHiPS, Fantasy Island and Perry Mason.

A date arranged by 20th Century Fox's publicity department is how Michael Ansara met actress Barbara Eden, two years later they were married. They were divorced in 1977.

Michael Ansara has been in several uncredited roles including Action In Arabia in 1944 playing Hamid, in 1949 as a rife dispenser in Outpost In Morocco, a house servant in My Favorite Spy in 1951 and The Lawless Breed in 1953 as Gus Hanley, just to name a few.

The hit TV series I Dream Of Jeannie was a series that was directed by Michael Ansara, He also was a guest star on several episodes.

Jonathan Frakes, Marina Sirtis, Armin Shimerman, John de Lancie and Richard Poe are the only six actors to play the same character on three different Star Trek series. Michael Ansara played Kang in Star Trek in 1966, on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine in 1993 and Star Trek: Voyager in 1995.
