Maureen O'Sullivan was born on May 17, 1911 in Boyle, County Roscommon, Ireland. Maureen O'Sullivan passed away on June 23, 1998 in Scottsdale, Arizona from a heart attack.

In 1932 Maureen signed with MGM and completed nine movies at four studios. Maureen O'Sullivan is best remembered as Jane, a role she first played with Johnny Weissmuller in Tarzan-the Ape Man.

Maureen O'Sullivan's final silver screen appearance was in 1988's Good Ole Boy: A Delta Boyhood.

Maureen with director John Farrow, is Mia Farrow's mother; along with Tisa Farrow, and Stephanie Farrow. Because Mia was married to Frank Sinatra, Maureen O'Sullivan was the Mother-in-law of Frank Sinatra.
