Madonna was born on August 16, 1958 in Bay City, Michigan Sometimes Madonna is credited as Madonna Louise Ciccone or Madonna Ciccone. Her birth name is Madonna Louise Veronica Ciccone, but she has several nicknames Nonnie, Maddy, Mo, The Material Girl, Madge and Esther.

Guy Ritchie and Madonna were married in December of 2000, Guy Ritchie is a writer and director best known roles are SNATCH and LOCK, STOCK AND TWO SMOKING BARRELS. Madonna's wedding dress for her to Guy Ritchie was designed by her friend Stella McCartney.

However this was not Madonna's first marriage in August of 1985 she married Sean Penn - they did divorce in September of 1989. Sean Penn has been in several films including I AM SAM, COLORS, and BAD BOYS.

Madonna has made history for so many different thing, I thing one of the most memrobale moments is her 1994 appearance on the LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN. What made the episode such a classic was Madonna language, she said the F word 13 times.

The hit song Vogue, is a tribute song Madonna did mentioning many celebrities including Greta Garbo, Marilyn Monroe, Marlene Dietrich, Joe DiMaggio, Marlon Brando, James Dean, Grace Kelly, Jean Harlow, Gene Kelly, Fred Astaire, Ginger Rogers, Rita Hayworth, Lauren Bacall, Katharine Hepburn, Lana Turner, and Bette Davis.

In 2003 Madonna took on an all new role she starting to a merchandise a line of dolls, apparel, home decor. This was announced after her first children's book was released in September of 2003 called The English Roses.

A material girl is one of Madonna's nicknames yes, i known its a song but it also goes with the fact that what ever material she wore on her body every teenage in the world wanted to follow her rebellious style. Including the famed cone-shaped bras she wore during her Express Yourself and Vogue performances.

Flirting with Warren Beatty, Madonna was in the movie DICK TRACY in 1990. I'm sure it was a tough role for Madonna she had to portray bad girl Breathless Mahoney.

Playing the free spirit, life chasing, character Susan in the 1985 hit DESPERATELY SEEKING SUSAN was a perfect cast for Madonna, she stared with Rosanna Arquette a bored housewife that just need some excitment in her life, she followed the story of Susan and Jim unfold in the personals.

In 2003 Madonna became the Executive Producer for the story of a nerdy kids made agent in AGENT CODY BANKS, then again in 2004 AGENT CODY BANKS 2: DESTINATION LONDON.

Madonna starred as Eva Peron in the classic musical in 1996 EVITA.

In 2002 Madonna turned fencing instructor in the 007 hit DIE ANOTHER DAY, this was not her best role although Pierce Bronsnan and Halle Berry were cast perfectly.

Playing a smart mouth rebel for Madonna in A LEAGUE OF THEIR OWN on the all female baseball team was a great film about how baseball stayed alive during WWII. Madonna was cast alongside Tom Hanks as the drunk coach and Geena Davis the team leader.

In 1986 Madonna and Sean Penn married at the time. Together they were in SHANGHAI SURPRISE, Madonna played a missionary nurse, Sean Penn was a fortune hunter. They are going to have to outwit and outsmart thug's and smuggler in Shangai. This cast included Paul Freeman, Richard Griffiths and Philip Sayer
