During a season break of M*A*S*H, Loretta Swit starred as
Chris Cagney in the pilot episode of CAGNEY AND LACEY in 1981.
Swit tryed to get out of her contract with M*A*S*H, which
was in its ninth season, to continue playing the role of Cagney.
However the "M*A*S*H" producers, wouldn't let Loretta break
her contract.
