Kevin Bacon was born on July 8, 1958 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Kevin Bacon married actress Kyra Sedgwick in 1988 after meeting
on the set of Lemon Sky the same year. The two live in New
York with their family which consists of their elder son,
Travis, younger daughter, Sosie, and a mutt named Paulie.
He is also the brother of Michael Bacon.
In 1978 Kevin Bacon's debut was as the strict Chip Diller
in Animal House. After several years of TV series and small
films, 1982's Kevin reappeared in Diner, earning star status.
It also penned a trademark evident in many of Bacon's roles;
a dark insanity. This alluring trait in Bacons roles however
has attracted the likes of many women, penning him as one
of the 100 Sexiest Stars in film history by Empire Magazines

In Kevin's spare time he joins brother Michael Bacon and
their band The Bacon Brothers. Currently they have released
3 albums; Forosoco (1997), Getting There (1999), and Can't
Complain (2001).
Kevin Bacon has starred in several daytime soaps The Guiding
Light and Search for Tomorrow. He has also made his mark in
Broadway Getting Out. Bacon has also won an Obie for his performance
