June is the daughter of actors Gene Lockhart and Kathleen Lockhart. Gene has been seen in many classic films including RIDING HIGH, MIRACLE ON 34TH STREET, BILLY THE KID and GERONIMO just to name a few, Kathleen has been in THE PURPLE GANG, BEWITCHED, A CHRISTMAS CAROL, and THE DEVIL IS A SISSY.

Anna and Lizabeth Lockhart are the daughters of June Lockhart. Anne Lockhart, following in her mom's footsteps Anne has been in several films and TV productions including DAYBREAK and BIG BAD JOHN, she has been heard doing various voices for movies including CHICKEN LITTLE and THE LITTLE MERMAID, trying to get her feet in the door she has also taken several uncredited roles in big hits like CITY SLICKERS and BASIC INSTINCT. Lizabeth Lockhart has only had a couple of appearances she was on PETTICOAT JUNCTION and she was also in the movie that included he mom and sister in the movie JUST TELL ME YOU LOVE ME this movie was a family affair Anne Lockhart played Kris, June Lockhart was Mrs. Taylor and Lizabeth Lockhart was the Hotel Clerk

Just starting out June Lockhart won Broadway the 1948 Tony Award for Outstanding Performance by a Newcomer for her role the play FOR LOVE OR MONEY.

By playing oddly enough the daughter of stars Gene Lockhart and Kathleen Lockhart was the role that broke June Lockhart into the movies in 1938 she was in the classic version of A CHRISTMAS CAROL.

Most resently June Lockhart has been seen on several hit TV series including COLD CASE, LAS VEGAS, THE DREW CAREY SHOW, and GREY"S ANATOMY.

Starting in 1965 June Lockhart was cast into the TV series LOST IN SPACE playing Maureen Robinson until 1968. In 1998 the movie version came out and yes June Lockhart was cast in the movie LOST IN SPACE although this time around she was Principal Cartwright her old part was played by Mimi Rogers who played Dr. Maureen Robinson.

Another role that went from small screen to big screen was that of Ruth Martin starting in 1958 June Lockhart was part of the cast on LASSIE until 1964. June was also part of the cast of the movie LASSIE: A CHRISTMAS TAIL in 1963 and LASSIE'S GREAT ADVENTURE in 1965.

Currently June Lockhart is filming the voice work of Mindy the Owl for the upcoming movie BONGEE BEAR AND THE KINGDOM OF RHYTHM. This is not June Lockhart's first voice work she was also heard using various voices on THE REN & STIMPY SHOW.

Day time soap have also given June Lockhart some wonderful parts she has been on GENERAL HOSPITAL of and on as Maria Ramirez starting in 1984-1986, 1988, 1990-1992, 1998 was the last time she played this part, June has also had guest appearance on KNOTS LANDING, FALCON CREST.

As Dr. Janet Craig, from 1968 till 1970 June Lockhart was on the hit TV series PETTICOAT JUNCTION.
