John Hillerman was born on December 20th, 1932 in Denison, Texas.

Hillerman started his career in show business by making several guest appearances on the TV shows: THE SIXTH SENSE (1972), WONDER WOMEN (1976), HAWAII FIVE-O (1976- 1978) and THE LOVE BOAT (1979).

John Hillerman played Jonathan Quayle Higgins on the popular TV 80s series MAGNUM P.I..

Hillerman is best known for his role of "Jonathan Higgins", He played the character "Higgins" on four separate television shows: QUANTUM LEAP (1981), MURDER, SHE WROTE (1986), SIMON & SIMON (1982) and of course MAGNUM P.I. (1980).

He lent his voice as the narrator for the film SINK THE BISMARK (1996), a fascinating documentary which tells the history of the famous German battleship during World War II.
