About Jason Lee (1970 – )

Jason Lee was born on April 25, 1970, in Huntington Beach, California. He was raised in Orange County by his parents, mother Carolyn, and father Gergory Lee, who was a car dealership manager. Jason attended Ocean View High School.

Sometimes Jason Lee is credited as Dennis Pepper, and Linus Peacock.

Jason Lee is an American actor, comedian, television producer, and skateboarder.

At the age of 13, Jason Lee took up skateboarding. By 18 he was a professional skateboarder. Jason became a legend to fans and popularized a move called the "360 Flip." Lee and a friend started the twin companies, Stereo Skateboards and Stereo Sounds Clothing.

In the 90s, Jason Lee worked his tricks in front of the camera, appearing in several music videos, including one for the Sonic Youth song, "100%."

In 1994, Jason Lee started acting, after moving to Los Angeles, and becoming friends with some actors. His first film was MI VIDA LOCA as a teenage drug customer. MAILRATS in 1995, was Jason Lee's first lead role, and developed a youth following.

His star shown in the 1997 film, CHASING AMY, for he won a Best Supporting Male Actor Independent SPIRIT Award, for his performance, portraying the crankiy roommate, Banky.

His first mainstream film was the 1998 movie, KISSING A FOOL.

In 1999, Jason played a fine villain, AZRAEL, in the qurky film, DOGMA. His performance caught the eye of the casting director for the animated film, THE INCREDIBLES, which came out in 2004. Jason Lee became known for his voice-over work, portraying the animated characters; Buddy Pine / IncrediBoy / Syndrome, in this huge 2004 hit, THE INCREDIBLES.

Two films that got his star rising were his supporting actor performances in VANILLA SKY;(2001), and ALMOST FAMOUS;(2000).

However, Jason Lee is best known for his performance as Earl Hickey, in the TV series, MY NAME IS EARL;(2005-2009). He was nominated for two Best Actor in a Comedy, Golden Globes.

Jason Lee was cast in the following TV series; RAISING HOPE;(2010-2013), UP ALL NIGHT;(2011-2012), MEMPHIS BEAT;(2010-2011).

His TV movies have been well-received, including AWAY AND BACK;(2015), COCKED;(2015),
SECOND SIGHT;(2013), and SHRED;(2011), that he co-wrote with Luke Watson.

Jason married actress Carmen Llywelyn in 1995. They both were cast in the film, CHASING AMY. However, it is hard to stay married when one spouse's career is booming. They divorced in 2001. Another source thinks that the divorce was because of Jason's beliefs in Scientology during this time.

On September 28th, 2003, Jason became a father with the birth of a son, Pilot Inspektor Riesgraf-Lee with ex-fiancée; actress/director/writer Beth Riesgraf. Their relationship lasted from 2001-2007.

Relationship wise, Jason had better luck the third time around, marrying Turkish-Australian model and actress; Ceren Alkac in 2008. Jason and Ceren have two children; a daughter Casper Lee;(August of 2008), and a son; Sonny Lee;(June of 2012).
