At the age 10, Hector Elizondo was discovered by the legendary
W.C. Handy.
Hector Elizondo is an accomplished guitarist, singer
and dancer.
In 1969 Hector Elizondo won an Obie for his leading role in
Bruce Jay Friedman's STEAMBATH. In 1984, Hector Elizondo directed
A.K.A. PABLO the first show to utilize seven cameras instead
of the usual four. Director Garry Marshall considers Hector
to be his "good luck charm", most movies he acts in are successful.
Appearing with both Richard Gere and Julia Roberts in PRETTY
WOMAN (1990), for which Hector got a Golden Globe Nomination
for Best Supporting Actor. Then again in 1999, the three were
together again in RUNAWAY BRIDE.
