Frank Langella was Born on January 1,1940 in Bayonne, New Jersey.   

Frank Langella achieved fame with his sexy portrayal of Count Dracula in the 1979 film, DRACULA.  He is a versatile film, stage and television actor who delivers powerhouse intensity with a seductive, commanding voice and expressive brown eyes. 

In 1981, Frank Langella played the title role in SHERLOCK HOLMES, in an HBO production.  He also played Holmes on the stage in 1987 in the play, "Sherlock's Last Case. 

In 1987, Frank Langella played the villiain Skeletor in MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE, reputedly one of his favorite roles.  At the time, his kids were big fans of the superhero He-Man and he did the part to please them.  In spite of having to don an elaborate costume and sit in a make-up chair for hours every day, he had a lot of fun with the part.

In 1993, Langella guest starred on STAR TREK:  DEEP SPACE NINE, as the villain Jaro Essa.  Also in 1993, Langella played in the comedy DAVE, as Bob Alexander, the President's Chief of Staff, a master manipulator who attempts to engineer his own elevation to the Oval Office.

Frank Langella played Richard Nixon on stage in London and New York, as well as in the Ron Howard film adaptation, FROST/NIXON.  Langella received great acclaim for his portrayal, receiving a Tony Award for his stage work.  He was also nominated for a Golden Globe Award, Screen Actors Guild, BAFTA and Academy Award. 

Langella also played memorable character roles as Clark Kent's urbane editor in SUPERMAN RETURNS, and owner of a Satanic book in THE NINTH GATE, a Roman Polanski film.
