Dyan Cannon was born on January 4, 1937 in Tacoma, Washington.
Dyan Cannon's birth name is Samile Diane Friesen and she
went by the nickname Frosty in high school. Cannon got her
stage name from producer Jerry Wald.
In 1959 Dyan Cannon made her movie debut in THIS REBEL BREED.
In 1961 Cannon met Cary Grant and allowed her career to languish
while she concentrated on their relationship, Grant and Cannon
were married in 1965. Dyan Cannon started acting again in
1969, in BOB & CAROL & TED & ALICE for which she was Oscar
nominated as Best Supporting Actress.
