Sandy Cohen and Danny Aiello were married on January 8, 1955.  Currently two of their four children have become actors. Danny Aiello III is a stunt man and also an actor, he has been in films like THE WANDERERS, AMITYVILLE II:THE POSSESSION, FAMILY BUSINESS and LOOSE CANNONS. Rick Aiello has been in several films also including SHE HATES ME, ONE EYED KING, and ME AND THE KID.

BANG THE DRUM SLOWLY was Danny Aiello's first credited movie, this film starred Robert De Niro, Michael Moriarty and Vincent Gardenia.
