Plummer is nominated for the Best Supporting Actor Award for his performance in THE LAST STATION.

His real name was Arthur Christopher Orme Plummer. This Canadian leading man who has also done award winning stage work, and has proven through his many films that he is gifted in comedy and drama, and is particularly effective in sinister roles, playing black-hearted villains with no redeeming values. That being said, however, plummer's career defining role was his portrayal of Baron Von Trapp in the huge hit, THE SOUND OF MUSIC.

Christopher Plummer keeps himself busy, splitting his time between film, stage, and TV work. He is happily married to Elaine Taylor.
