About Buck Henry (1930 –)

Buck Henry was born on December 9th, 1930, in New York City.

Buck Henry's birth name is Buck Henry Zuckerman.

In 1967, Buck scored an Oscar nomination for his second screenplay, THE GRADUATE. In 1978, Buck Henry co-produced and co-directed HEAVEN CAN WAIT with Warren Beatty. Heaven Can Wait won Henry another Oscar nomination.

Buck Henry is a member of SATURDAY NIGHT LIVE's (1975) "Five Timers Club" –in fact he has hosted SNL 10 times.

Buck's first solo directing effort came with FIRST FAMILY, which he also wrote, in 1980.

Back in the early 1960s, Buck Henry was a member of an improv theater group, The Premise, in Greenwich Village.
