Anita Rose Morris was born on March 14, 1943 in Durham, North
Carolina. Morris Passed away on March 2, 1994 in Los Angeles,
California from Ovarian Cancer. Morris was married to Grover
Dale in 1973. They are the parents of James Badge Dale. The
two remained together until her death in 1994.
Morris began her career in the American Mime Theatre. She
would eventually make her way to the big screen and establish
herself with her trademark look; red hair, full lips, and
that hour glass figure.
She appeared on Broadway in the musicals, "Jesus Christ Superstar,"
"Best Little Whorehouse in Texas" and she won a Tony nomination
for "Nine." Morris was actually scheduled to perform
a musical number from "Nine" for the Tony Awards broadcasted
in 1982 but her stage outfit was so revealing that censors
refused to even let her perform.
