Best Film:

Knocked Up

The genius of the film is the genius of Seth Rogen, that a guy who looks like that could actually make you believe, nay, be sure of the fact that Katherine Heigl would fall for him.

Great Performances You May Not Have Seen:
Observe and Report (mall cop with delusions of detective grandeur)

Zack and Miri Make a Porno (with Elizabeth Banks, a barista who tries to make ends meet by making ends meet)

50/50 (best friend of Joseph Gordon-Leavitt, who is diagnosed with cancer)

Funny People (big time comedian Adam Sandler's helpmate and co-joke writer)

Paul (the title alien's voice)
Blockbusters:
The Green Hornet (the title crime fighter)

Knocked Up (loser slacker who gets Katherine Heigl pregnant)

You, Me and Dupree (Matt Dillon's henpecked Milquetoast friend)

The 40-Year-Old Virgin (Steve Carell's coworker)

Pineapple Express (with James Franco, a loser slacker who mistakenly becomes involved with vicious drug dealers)
The Real Seth Rogen:
Funny People

Rogen is a very clever comedian and especially writer, cohort of Judd Apatow and author of several screenplays, including "Pineapple Express," "Green Hornet" and "Superbad."
Acting Style:
The best buddy. Even his lead role in Green Hornet put Rogen in the sidekick seat, with the goof-ups and the funny banter, and Jay Chou as the cool guy and action hero. In pal Judd Apatow's stable, Rogen works the best friend like nobody else, laughing at his own jokes and needling his pals, but always being the loyal friend.
Bits and Quirks:
The deep semi-stoner unmistakable voice. The great, huge laugh. A quick-delivery style sometimes. A nerdy dangling walk. Self-effacing style. Jokes about his weight and his looks.
