Wesley Snipes was born on July 31, 1962, in Orlando Florida, Spent most of his growing up years in the Bronx, New York City, until his Mom moved them back to Florida.

Spent part of his teen years at High School for the Performing Arts, N.Y.

Graduated with a BFA in 1985 from State University of New York at Purchase.

Got his start in acting in Florida dinner theaters, and regional theaters.

First film was with Goldie Hawn in WILDCATS.

Snipes has a 5th Degree Black Belt in Capoeira, Brazilian martial arts.
